What happened to your drive?
Most data loss falls into two groups. Logical damage is when the drive still works but the data is gone or unreadable. Physical damage is when the drive itself has failed – and the worst cases need a clean room, because opening a drive in normal air destroys it.
Before you bring it in
- Stop using the drive. Every write reduces what can be recovered.
- If it clicks, beeps or will not spin, switch it off and leave it off.
- Do not run recovery software on a failing drive – it can finish it off.
- Never open the drive yourself. Dust on the platter is permanent damage.
- Drive accidentally formatted or partition deleted
- Files deleted or lost after a virus or ransomware attack
- Hard disk not detected by the computer or BIOS
- Drive asks to be formatted every time you plug it in
- Clicking, beeping or grinding sounds from the disk

You get one fixed price. Only after you agree do we start the recovery.

You verify the recovered data before paying. No data recovered means no charge.
How much does data recovery cost?
It depends on the device and the type of failure. Logical recovery on a hard disk starts at RM400, physical damage from RM500, and clean room work on drives with damaged heads or motors starts at RM1,800. Memory cards, pendrives and SSDs start from RM150 for logical cases. We give you a fixed quotation after diagnosis.
Do I pay if you cannot recover my data?
No. There is no diagnosis fee, and if we cannot recover the data you need, there is no charge.
How long does data recovery take?
Between 1 and 7 days depending on the case. Simple logical recovery is usually quick; drives that need clean room work or a RAID array take longer.
My hard disk is making a clicking sound. Can you still recover it?
Often yes, but stop using it immediately. Clicking usually means the heads are damaged and every extra minute powered on can destroy more of the platter. That type of job is done in a clean room.
Can you recover data from an SSD, pendrive or memory card?
Yes. We handle memory cards, USB flash drives and SSDs for both logical and physical damage.
Can you recover a RAID server or NAS?
Yes. RAID0, RAID1, Volume Set, RAID5, RAID5+1, RAID5EE, NAS and SAN. Each array is quoted individually because the work depends on how many drives are involved and how they failed.

Yes. All recovery work is strictly confidential and your files are only handled by our technicians.
