1. Tell us what happened
Did it get wet, drop, or just stop one morning? The story tells us where to look.
Dead laptop, black screen, liquid damage or a charging port that no longer holds. Most shops send these away or tell you to buy a new laptop. We open the board and repair it here.
A laptop is not dead just because it will not turn on. Most of the time one circuit or one component has failed, and replacing that is far cheaper than replacing the whole board or the whole laptop.
Board work cannot be priced from a photo. We check it first, find what failed, then tell you the price and what the chances are.
| Job | Price |
|---|---|
| Motherboard / chip-level repair No power, no display, power circuit and component-level faults | From RM250 |
| Charging port / DC jack repair Port resoldered or replaced on the board | From RM250 |
| Liquid damage cleaning & repair Depends how far the corrosion has spread – quoted after inspection | Quoted after check |
We tell you honestly when a board is not worth repairing. If the cost comes close to the value of the laptop, we will say so and talk you through the alternatives instead.

Walk in to the store, or ask us to arrange a pickup for your area.
Board out, tested circuit by circuit until we find what actually failed.
You get the price and the odds before we repair. Then it runs on test before you collect.
Nothing is sent away. Boards are opened, traced and repaired at our bench in Damansara Perdana.

Board repair starts from RM250. The final price depends on what failed and which components have to be replaced, so we check the board first and quote you before any work starts.
Switch it off and do not try to charge it or turn it on to "test" it. Liquid plus power is what kills boards. Bring it in as soon as you can – the sooner it is cleaned, the more of the board survives.
Often, but not always. It can also be the charger, the charging port or the battery. We test each part in turn so you are not paying for board work you do not need.
Yes. A loose or broken DC jack is one of the most common board jobs. On many models the port is soldered to the board, which is why it needs chip-level work rather than a simple part swap.
It can be the screen, the cable, or the graphics section of the board. We check the display path first, because a screen problem is a far cheaper fix than a board one.
Longer than a part swap, because it is diagnosis first and then component-level work. We give you a timeframe together with the quote.
Most boards can be repaired for far less than a new laptop. Bring it in and we will tell you honestly what it needs.
